DISCIPTION
Pair of stunning ivory above elbow length opera/evening gloves, which have been produced from delicate crochet lace to the top and cotton hands with three mother of pearl buttons to each wrist

AGE
Mid 20th century, circa 1950's

SIZE -
The gloves measure 58cm (23" long and 6cm (2½" wide, across palm.

CONDITION
The gloves are in a very good condition, with no holes or tears to the fabric, although there are one or two loose threads. There are some brown marks to the cotton, with several areas with tiny rust type stains, which may launder out (?). Please refer to the above photographs for details of condition.

I love all things Victorian. The fashion and the style of the women of that era impress me the most.   
Women were very gracious to each other in that era. They took the time to dress for the occasion to socialize.They trained themselves on manner and etiquette to be pleasant in public. They pride themselves on their appearance and their social skills.
I am meeting so many lovely ladies with the same passion of this era. I hope we will be able to learn from each other and keep the era alive..
